Kids and adults alike with absolutely love these healthy chicken tenders. You can customize them to suit your own taste with the spices of your choice. They can be cut into kid-friendly nugget sized pieces and you can rest easy knowing your children are eating healthy. No "by-products" here!
16 Organic boneless, skinless, chicken tenders
1/2-1 c. T.G.I.G.F! Mix
1/2 t. Salt
1/4 t. Dried thyme
1/4 t. Pepper
2-4 t. Olive oil
Place T.G.I.G.F! Baking and Bread Mix along with salt, dried thyme and pepper in a small bowl, stir to combine. Using kitchen shears trim tendons from chicken tenders. Using a spoon, spoon about 1/4 cup of seasoned T.G.I.G.F! into a pie plate or shallow dish. Take one tender at a time and coat with T.G.I.G.F!, place coated tender on a plate lined with wax paper. Repeat until all tenders are coated, adding more seasoned T.G.I.G.F! as needed. If there is any leftover seasoned T.G.I.G.F! that did not come into contact with the raw chicken, store in a ziploc bag in the freezer until needed again. Heat olive oil on medium in a large skillet. Cook tenders approximately 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, drain on paper towels. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or the kids' favorite dipping sauce, ketchup.
