A simple but delicious way to make tender sweet golden chicken. One of my family's favorites! Great with pork chops too!

2 pds.       Bone-In Chicken

1 c.           T.G.I.G.F! Mix

3 T.           Organic Brown Sugar

1 t.            Garlic powder

1/2 t.         Salt

1/2 t.         Dried thyme

2 t.            Olive oil

1/4 c.        Pacific Foods Low Sodium Chicken Broth


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine T.G.I.G.F! Mix, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and thyme. You can also add any other spices to suit your taste. Dampen the chicken pieces and coat with the seasoned T.G.I.G.F! brown sugar mixture. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a large skillet on medium high. Working in batches, quickly brown both sides of chicken. Place browned chicken into a 13" x 9" baking dish. Pour chicken broth into hot skillet and scrape the bottom to de-glaze the pan and get all of the goodness out of the skillet. Pour de-glazed liquid into baking dish. Cover the chicken with a lid or foil and bake covered 40 minutes. After 40 minutes uncover chicken and continue to bake an additional 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
